Born as Katarina Andrejčik on March 10, 1874 in Litmanova, Slovakia, to Michal Andrejčik and Maria Marčišak.

Arrived in the USA on December 4, 1900, at age 26, on the ship Weimar sailing from Bremen to New York.

Married Vasil Kuč on June 7, 1898 in Litmanova, at age 24. They had 3 children: Michael, Anna and Mary. Vasil died in 1903.

Married Michael Petrusky on May 11, 1906 near Jacobs Creek, Westmoreland county, PA, at age 32. They had 4 children: Charles, George, Helen and Katherine.

Resided in Perryopolis and Banning, Fayette county, PA, where her husband was employed as a coal miner. Her family affectionately called her "Bubba", and remembers her singing her songs and prayers all day long, never speaking a word of English.

Died on August 10, 1971 in Perryopolis, PA at age 97. Buried in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic church cemetery in Perryopolis.
