Born on November 17, 1888 in Litmanova to Peter Petrik and Anna Vira.

Arrived in the USA on October 29, 1907, at age 18, on the ship SS Kroonland sailing from Antwerp, Belgium, to New York. Her final destination was Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, where an uncle, Vasil Petrik (Charlie Petrick) operated a poultry farm. She found employment at the local fabric mills.

In March of 1909, she was diagnosed with tuberculosis and she succumbed to the disease on October 16, 1909.
