Born as Vasil Petrik on January 27, 1895 in Litmanova, Slovakia, to Andrew Petrik and Justina Juraščik.

Arrived in the USA on August 6, 1902, at age 7, on the ship Brandenburg sailing from Bremen to Baltimore.

Married Mary Urban on July 9, 1920 in Cleveland, OH, at age 25. They had 10 children: Andrew, Carol, Charles, Jane, John, Justine, Katherine, Mary Ann, Patricia and Virginia.

Served in the US Navy during World War I.

Resided in Cleveland, OH, where he was employed as a factory worker and founded a home heating company, Patrick Stoker Service.

Died on December 18, 1963 in Cleveland, OH at age 68.
